The Dip in Review

Thanks so much for everyone’s participation and support.  The 2010 Toronto Polar Bear Dip was a huge success.  The numbers have been tallied, all the money is counted and the results are fantastic:

• 212 total dippers
• Over $20,500 raised by the dip for Habitat for Humanity Toronto
• Media coverage by CP24, CTV, Global, City TV, 680 News and The Globe and Mail
• Hundreds of supporters and fans

The Toronto Polar Bear Dip has now raised in excess of $70,000 for Habitat for Humanity in the first five years.  The team is very proud of all the participation and supporters and looks forward to a bigger and better year next year.

Due to the overwhelming attendance, there were unfortunately not enough bracelets and blankets to go around.  More are on their way and as soon as they are made, we will be contacting those who provided us with contact information to arrange a pick-up location.
